Product information

KIKI 's Activated Charcoal is produced from sustainable coconuts which has been highly purified with steam to remove any contaminants for use as a pharmaceutical active ingredient. It is a finely reduced powder (5-10 microns), which presents a huge surface area for the absorption of unwanted substances. When taken orally or used on teeth or skin it works as a sponge to soak up contaminants. Activated charcoal contributes to reducing excessive flatulence after eating. The beneficial effect is obtained with 1 g which should be taken at least 30 minutes before and 1 g shortly after the meal.

Ingredients: 100% Activated Charcoal

Recommended use: Mix 1 level teaspoon dispersed in a glass of water when required. Rinse with water to remove any residue. To obtain the beneficial effect of reducing excessive flatulence after eating, take at least 1g at least 30 minutes before and 1g shortly after the meal. For teeth: Put a small amount of powder into a small bowl. Wet toothbrush and dip into powder. Gently brush for 2 minutes. Brush again with water or toothpaste to remove residue. For a detoxifying face mask: Mix with water/coconut oil or ingredients of choice to form a paste and smooth onto face. Leave for 10 minutes and wash off. Avoid getting it on clothes as it may stain.

Warnings: Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Keep out of reach of young children. Recommended daily dose should not be exceeded. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration is not required. Activated charcoal is good at trapping chemicals and prevents their absorption, therefore, it is advised to take activated charcoal at least one hour after medications or food supplements you take by mouth. Consult your medical practitioner if you are pregnant, lactating or on prescription medication prior to use.
